Dedicated Development
A senior developer's hours,
reserved for you monthly.
For businesses and agencies that need ongoing development — not another project quote. You get a fixed block of tracked hours every month, a priority slot in our queue, and the same hand-coded standard as everything we ship. Metered, reported, never a surprise.

What fits in a block
What 20 hours
actually buys.
A month of Growth typically covers a new landing page and a round of improvements — or several smaller items: a booking integration, speed work on slow templates, a new service section, form and tracking changes, content updates your CMS can't handle alone.
Scale doubles that: enough for a page-per-week shipping rhythm, an ongoing conversion-improvement program, or agency overflow work that needs senior hands without senior hiring.
The honest comparison
Retainer, freelancer,
or full-time hire?
- Quality is a lottery you re-enter every project
- No continuity — each new person relearns your site
- Availability depends on their other clients
- You manage the work and the risk
- The same senior hands every month — who already know your codebase
- Reserved capacity: your slot exists whether the month is busy or not
- Tracked, reported, capped — spend is predictable to the dollar
- Studio standards on every hour: hand-coded, performance-first
- Right at 150+ dev hours of monthly need — most sites need 10–40
- Hiring, managing, tooling and retention are on you
- One person’s skill ceiling on every problem
- The desk costs money on quiet weeks too
How a month runs
A rhythm, not
a ticket queue.
An example allocation
What a Growth month
can look like.
Illustrative allocation — your month is planned around your priorities, and you approve the list before work begins.
Questions
Asked before nearly
every retainer.
What exactly do I get each month?
A reserved block of senior development hours — 20 on Growth, 40 on Scale — tracked to the quarter-hour and reported to you monthly. It is a metered block of expert time, not an unlimited subscription and not a part-time employee.
What happens when the hours run out?
We tell you before you hit the cap, never after. You can add a top-up block of 10 hours, or the work waits for next month's block. Nothing is ever done and billed without your approval.
Do unused hours roll over?
No — the block resets monthly. That is what keeps the price this sharp: we reserve the capacity whether you use it or not, so we plan our month around yours.
What kind of work fits a retainer?
Ongoing development: new sections and landing pages, feature additions, integrations, performance work, fixes and improvements. Full redesigns and new builds are projects — they get their own fixed quote.
How fast do you respond?
Retainer clients hold a priority slot: response within one business day, and Scale clients get same-week turnaround on most requests.
Can I cancel?
Any time, with 30 days' notice. No lock-in, no cancellation fee — the retainer earns its renewal every month or it doesn't deserve it.
