What will your website
actually cost?

Answer four questions, get a real range in dollars. No email required, no sales call hiding behind a button — these are the same numbers we quote from.

1. What are we building?
2. Roughly how many pages?
3. What should it include? (pick any)
4. Timeline?

How this website cost calculator works

Most website cost calculators exist to capture your email. This one exists to give you a usable number. It uses the same four variables we price from in real quotes: what we are building, how many pages it needs, which features you add, and how quickly you need it. You get a range in dollars, not a point estimate, because the final ten to twenty percent of any quote depends on scoping details such as content readiness, integrations and the number of unique page templates.

Use it to set a realistic budget before you talk to any agency, including us. If the range is higher than you expected, the sections below explain where the money goes.

What a custom website costs in 2026

    New business website

    $2,000 – $5,000

Five to ten custom-designed pages, hand-coded, with search engine fundamentals, contact forms and a CMS you can update yourself. Most of our projects land here. See what each package includes.

    Website redesign

    $2,500 – $6,000

Depends on how much content moves over, how many URLs need redirects, and whether the brand changes. A redesign that keeps your structure costs less than one that rethinks it. Redesign services.

    E-commerce store

    $4,000 – $10,000

Product catalogue, payments, shipping and tax rules, and a checkout engineered for speed on mobile. Catalogue size and integrations with stock or accounting systems drive the price.

Custom web app or client portal

    From $6,000

Logins, dashboards, calculators or booking flows that go beyond a brochure site. Scoped individually after a discovery call. Web development services.

What moves the price up or down

    • Page count and unique templates. Ten pages built on three templates cost less than ten pages that each need their own layout.
    • Copywriting. If you bring finished copy the project moves faster and costs less. If we write it, budget for research and revisions.
    • Integrations. CRM connections, online booking, payment gateways and email automation each add development and testing time.
    • Multilingual content. Every language multiplies the content work and adds technical requirements for search engines.
    • Timeline. A rush schedule means we reprioritise other work, so priority delivery carries a premium.
    • Migration. Moving hundreds of blog posts or products, with redirects that protect your rankings, is real work and is priced as such.

Why the estimate is a range, not a number

Any calculator that gives you a single figure is guessing. Two websites with the same page count can differ by thousands of dollars depending on how much custom design, content and integration work sits behind each page. We show you the honest range, then fix the exact price in writing after a short scoping conversation, so there are no surprises at invoice time.

Website cost calculator vs. agency quotes

Agency quotes vary widely because they bundle different things: some include copy, photography and three rounds of revisions; others charge for every change. When you compare quotes, check what is included, who actually does the work, whether you own the code and design files afterwards, and what performance is promised. Every site we launch is hand-coded, scores 90+ on Google PageSpeed before handover, and belongs to you outright.

    Website cost questions, answered

How accurate is this website cost calculator?

It is built from the same four variables we price real quotes from: the type of build, the number of pages, the features you add and the timeline. It gives a range rather than a single number because the final 10–20% depends on scoping details such as content readiness and integrations. Every quote we send is fixed in writing before work starts.

What does a 5-page business website cost?

A custom-designed, hand-coded five-page business site typically lands between $2,000 and $3,500 with us. Copywriting, booking systems, CRM integration or a rush timeline move it towards the top of that range.

Why are web design and web development priced separately?

Design (research, wireframes, Figma, prototype) and development (hand-coded build, CMS, integrations, QA) are different skills and different amounts of work. Design-only engagements start at $2,500 and development from $4,000; most clients take both as one fixed-price project.

    Is there a monthly fee?

No. The project price is one-off and you own the code, design files and domain. Optional care plans for updates, security and performance monitoring are available after launch and are priced separately.

How long does a website take to build?

Most projects run four to eight weeks from kickoff to launch. Larger builds with e-commerce or custom functionality can take ten to twelve. Content delays are the most common reason timelines slip, which is why we plan content before design starts.

Can I get an exact quote?

Yes. Use the calculator for the range, then request a written quote. You get a fixed scope and price within one business day.
