What the free SEO analyzer checks

The analyzer reads a page the way a search engine does and grades the twelve on-page signals that decide whether it can rank at all. Nothing here needs a login, a plugin or an expert: each check is explained in plain English with the fix next to it.

    Title and description

Is the title tag present, unique and the right length? Does the meta description exist, fit in the result snippet and give someone a reason to click?

    Headings and content

Exactly one H1, a logical H2/H3 structure, and enough real text on the page for a search engine to understand what it is about.

    Indexability

Robots directives, canonical tags and anything else that could quietly tell Google not to index the page. This is the most common invisible problem we find.

    Images, schema and sharing

Alt text on images, structured data (JSON-LD) for rich results, and the Open Graph tags that control how the page looks when shared.

    How to read your score

Each check is graded pass, warn or fail and the overall grade reflects how many hard requirements the page meets. An A means the page is technically ready to rank and the rest is down to content and authority. A C or lower almost always means one of three things: the page is blocked from indexing, the title and description are missing or duplicated, or there is too little text for a search engine to work with.

    What to fix first

    • Indexing blocks. A stray noindex tag or wrong canonical makes everything else irrelevant. Fix it today.
    • Title tag. Fifty to sixty characters, the main keyword near the front, written for a person scanning results.
    • Meta description. Up to 155 characters that say what the page offers and why to click. It is your ad copy in the results.
    • One clear H1 and real headings. Headings are how both readers and search engines skim.
    • Thin content. If the page is a few lines and a form, add the explanation a visitor would want before they act.

On-page SEO is the floor, not the ceiling

Passing every check here does not guarantee rankings; it removes the reasons a page cannot rank. From there, results depend on Core Web Vitals, internal links, content that answers the search better than the competition, and increasingly on being cited by AI search. If you would rather we handle it, our SEO and performance service builds all of this into the site from the first line of code.

    SEO analyzer questions

Is this SEO analyzer really free?

Yes. There is no email gate, no account and no limit on the number of pages you check. Run it on your own site, a competitor or a page you are about to publish.

Why does my page score well here but still not rank?

On-page fundamentals are the floor, not the ceiling. Rankings also depend on content depth, internal links, page speed, backlinks and whether the page matches what searchers actually want. The website audit covers speed and mobile; our article on falling traffic covers the rest.

Does the analyzer check Core Web Vitals or page speed?

No. It focuses on the twelve on-page checks a search engine reads from your HTML. For performance, run the free website audit, which loads your page on a mobile device profile and reports Core Web Vitals.

    What should I fix first?

Anything that blocks indexing, then the title tag, then the meta description and heading structure. Those four changes take under an hour and influence both rankings and click-through rate more than anything else on the list.
